Once upon a time, that is somewhere in the 10th-12th century, in the vicinity of Płock, there lived a young man whose main occupation was warfare... He probably had a family: a wife and several children, and lived in a one-room house where there was a place to sleep, work, eat, and where there had to be, especially in winter, a place for young farm animals. When necessary, he would stand together with sword, shield and spear to fight. Maybe even on the prince's team? And when he reached the age, according to anthropologists adultus, which is about 35 - 45 years old, he died in battle. Or perhaps he died a natural death? After all, people in the medieval period lived short lives, rarely living to 60. Was this really the case, or was it a little different? Or was this man involved in some kind of craft or a typical farmer?
