The Lep na Bluesa Festival is one of the most important blues events in this part of the country and at the same time a cultural showcase of the town. It was in Józefów that Tadeusz Nalepa - the founder of the legendary band Breakout, also called the "Father of Polish Blues" - lived and worked for over 20 years.
