The exhibition shows the realities of everyday life and activities of Poles in the first half of the 20th century. It is narrated from the perspective of the family of Janina and Józef Sylwestrowicz. One can visit the interior of their 1930s flat, and in the information part of the exhibition one can see examples of pedagogical and social work, self-education, artistic creativity and the fight for freedom. The exhibition received a prestigious distinction in the XXXVII SYBILLA 2016 Competition for the Museum Event of the Year in the category of historical and archaeological exhibitions.
